How x402 works
Request
Your agent calls any endpoint in this directory. The server replies 402 Payment Required with the price, asset, and pay-to address.
Pay
The x402 client signs a USDC payment authorization for the quoted amount — no account, no key, just a funded wallet.
Receive
The request is retried with the payment header, settles onchain, and the response comes back. Total overhead: one round trip.
