Fetch a public article or PDF and return clean Markdown plus title, byline, siteName, excerpt and wordCount. HTML is extracted with Firefox reader-mode rules; PDFs return their text layer. Requires ?url=<public http(s) URL>. Errors: 400 missing_url|bad_url, 403 blocked_private (private and internal hosts refused, every redirect hop re-checked), 413 too_large above 8 MB, 422 no_text_layer for scanned PDFs or not_extractable for app shells, 504 fetch_timeout. Why isn't checkout self-serve yet?
The directory runs with no accounts and no database on purpose. Until volume justifies automating it, placements are set up by hand — usually within a few hours of payment, always within 24.
Can I pay with x402 itself?
Soon. For now it's a plain USDC transfer on Base to the address below — the same rails your own API is paid on.
What happens when the month ends?
Your listing goes back to organic ranking. No auto-renewal, no card on file: pay again to extend, or don't.
Does featuring change my listing's data?
No. Description, pricing, and usage stats still come from the discovery network. Featuring only affects placement and adds the badge.
